ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 29th AGM takes place on Monday 16 May at 7.30 for 8 pm in the Howe Lecture Theatre, Queen Anne Building, University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College.
All members are invited to attend.
Copies of the Chairman’s Report and the Financial Report have been sent to members with Newsletter 90.
Officers and committee members proposed and seconded for the coming year are:
Chairman: Sue Yates, 34 Hyde Vale, SE10 8QH
Vice Chairman: Tony Butler, 19 Maidenstone Hill, SE10 8SY
Norman Adams, Richard Jones, Esme Partridge and Susan Taylor stand for election.
Jonathan Chandler and Clive Corlett stand for re-election
Tina Challacombe continues to serve.
Cindy Sheehan and Cliff Wilkinson resigned during 2021.
Lesley Jones is standing down at this AGM.
The committee confirms the appointments of Christine Bevan as Secretary, Julie Punter as Treasurer and Fran Tyler as Membership Secretary.
After the AGM, Andrew Mayfield, Greenwich Park Revealed Archaeologist, will give a short talk on his work in the Park. Graham Dear will be present to answer any queries on Greenwich Park Revealed; Michael Loughnane will answer queries on the Park and Sergeant John Berry will answer queries about policing.
Plus we hope to launch the History of Greenwich Park website and explain its purpose.
