Apologies, this walk has been cancelled. Owing to the on-going drought conditions the fruiting bodies of fungi are simply not developing at their usual time this year.

Fungi foraging, mycological meandering and mychorrizal mysteries.

You will encounter them all if you join us for our Fungi survey.

Join us to explore the Kingdom of fungi as we search high and (especially) low for some striking examples within the Park. Learn how fungi play a vital role in ecology of the various park habitats and marvel at their many and varied forms.

Mark Pritchard is leading a fungi walk in the Park on 12th October.

The walk will start at the Learning Centre at 10.30 am. The walk is weather dependant.
