Go bats… an after-hours walk in the Park
FRIENDS are invited to see and hear some of Greenwich Park’s resident bats in an exclusive after hours glimpse of these beautiful creatures.
We are running a dusk walk in the Park with local expert Mark Pritchard.
Meet at the Blackheath Gate at 7:15pm. The walk will last around an hour and a half. Numbers are limited and children over 10 are welcome. No dogs please.
Mark says: “If people have a powerful torch, they may wish to bring it, other than that just dress for the weather conditions and wear insect repellent if they choose.”
The walks are free but members need to book a place - bookings will open from 10am on July 31.
