Photography Group

Welcome to the Friends of Greenwich Park Photography Group.

It is open to everyone who is interested in photography, discussing their photographs and possibly receiving a few useful technical and creative tips. The equipment required is up to the person, from a mobile phone to DSLR.

Photography is a means of communicating, expressing and often identifying with what one sees. What that means can range from capturing moments as they occur such as park events and days out to thoughtfully recording subjects over time such as the park landscape and still lives.    

Taking photographs is of course the plan for all at the meetings, but obviously the theme(s) chosen may change relative to season or event, as well as individual members particular interests or needs. 

We can offer a few ideas for themes if required.

A new private Facebook page has been created to add photos.

The two group coordinators are Ian Welsby and Kevin Wood.
